Terms & Conditions

 

Firstly, thank you for choosing Casa Torre for your Spanish holiday!

 

As with any property rental, we have guidelines to ensure that as a guest, you are fully aware of the terms on which we have rented the villa to you.

 

By making a reservation at Casa Torre, you are deemed to have read and accepted these Terms of Business yourself and on behalf of all other people staying with you.

 

A binding contract between yourself (The Client) and myself (The Owner of the accommodation) is entered into on receipt of your booking confirmation. You are responsible for payment of the agreed price of the accommodation and the compliance of your invited members who will be sharing the accommodation.

 

Key points & Restrictions 

  • Guests are expected to behave in a reasonable manner and to allow others in nearby villas to enjoy the environment peacefully. We therefore respectfully request that between the hours of 10pm and 8am the following day, noise is kept to a minimum, especially in the garden and terrace areas.

 

  • Smoking is forbidden in any of the rooms in the villa, without exception. Ashtrays are provided for smoking on the terrace. Any additional cleaning required to remove smoke odour will be charged to the guest who made the booking.

 

Any guests who do not comply with these policies may be asked to leave and to find alternative accommodation and the owner reserves the right to cancel their booking with immediate effect and without refund.

 

 

Booking Amendments

 

If the property becomes unavailable or unusable and we are unable to locate an alternative property, which is reasonably suitable, then we will refund any amounts already paid.

 

If you wish to reduce the length of a booking, please advise us as soon as possible. We will endeavour to re-let the villa for the unwanted time.

Should we be successful in re-letting we will not charge you for the period re-let, although we would charge the difference between the existing tariff you paid and the resold new tariff, if it had to be sold at a lower price.

If we cannot re-let the villa for some or all the booked letting period, then you will remain responsible for the fees for the un-let period(s).

 

 

Damages 

Guests will be liable to pay any amount required to repair or replace items or equipment that are damaged or lost during their stay.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Breakage of parasols in the garden.
  • Scratches on the furniture
  • Water damage of any description through lack of care
  • Breakages of electrical appliances, dishes, glassware and any other items
  • Permanent staining of or damage to linen or towels

 

Cleaning

We expect the villa to be left in the same condition as you found it.

  • All rubbish must be taken to designated areas
  • All washing up done and cleared away and oven cleaned
  • All unused food to be disposed of according to the instructions in the villa
  • General tidy appearance of whole property

 

PLEASE NOTE: An extra charge may be applied should these instructions not be adhered to.

 

Damages

You must keep the accommodation in good condition and repair and tell us immediately if anything gets broken or damaged. The accommodation is inspected prior to all arrivals so we are satisfied that the accommodation is at its best for you. Please note that you will be liable for any breakages and damages to items within the villa.

 

Insurance

The property is fully insured. However, we do not provide insurance for your personal effects, nor is this provided under the insurance cover for the accommodation. It is therefore advisable that you plan for insurance cover for your personal effects.  There is a safe in the master bedroom for valuables.

 

Arrival/Departure times

Check in time is 4 pm. Check out time is 10 am.

If you require times outside of the above, please discuss possible opportunities at the time of booking.   We will do our best to accommodation early/late check in/check out, depending on villa occupancy.

 

Liabilities and responsibilities

The owner cannot be held liable or accept responsibility for any dissatisfaction with the villa, for personal injury, loss or damage to the Client’s belongings or car and its contents except that nothing in the agreement shall exclude the Owner’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, or the negligence of its employees, agents or subcontractors or fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

 

You are responsible for the accommodation equipment during the period and are expected to take all reasonable care of it.

 

You are advised to check on arrival and report any shortcomings, damage or missing items immediately to the Manager so that the matter can be remedied for you.

 

You undertake to report and pay for any damage caused to the accommodation or for equipment lost, damaged, or stolen during your stay.

 

Fair wear and tear are expected.

 

Pets

Pets are generally not allowed on the premises (except for fully accredited Guide Dogs for the sight impaired). However, the owner is a dog lover and may consider you bringing your pet on a case by case basis. Please request this consideration at the time of booking.

 

The Guest is responsible for any damages that your pets cause during your stay and for any additional cleaning that may be required. We will ask you to sign a special waver agreeing to these terms on arrival.

 

Number of persons using the accommodation

The number of persons using the accommodation shall not exceed the maximum number agreed, either daytime or evening and must be stated in advance to the Owner prior to the booking, because of fire regulations and insurance purposes.

 

If the number of guests increases without approval of the Owner,  the Client will be charged for one additional night at the same rate as the original booking and the Owner reserves the right to immediately terminate the agreement and ask the guests to leave.

 

Departure

We expect the villa to be left as you find it. If, at our discretion, additional cleaning is required on departure, the cost of this cleaning will be charged as a separate charge to you.
